In the US there are millions of people that suffer from social phobia and want to have a better life, this is a disorder that most people dont notice, but the people that have it suffer a lot, because they cant have a fulfilling life, because they tend to be alone.

We all at some point in our life have some kind of social anxiety, when dating girls or talking in public, but when your anxiety prevents your from doing your daily activities then is a disorder and you need to find help.

The most common treatments to overcome social anxiety are medications and therapy, both can be very effective depending on each person. Some will get better results with medications such as paxil and others will have more success with psychotherapy.

The downside of medications is that they cause side effects such as nausea and headaches, so you have to talk with your doctor before trying any of those. Never try a medications without a prescription, that is very important.

Behavioral therapy is the most common type of psychotherapy that i used to treat people with social anxiety. It will help you change your thought patterns and understand that your fears are irrational and that you dont have to live with those fears.

Look for professional help and also try to put some effort to meet some people from time to time, that will help you push your self forward and be more comfortable around people. You can change your life around by helping your self, dont wait any longer find help.
