The skin that covers your feet is quite delicate compared other areas of your body. With proper foot care, you can keep your feet healthy and beautiful, but with neglect your feet can easily become hard and cracked, and this can lead to infections and even ingrown toenails.
Most people are not aware that the skin on your soles does not have any oil glands, so in order to keep the souls of your feet soft and supple, you should use a quality moisturizer every day to apply gently to your feet.
The best time to moisturize your feet is after you have given your feet a pampering bath in warm water. You can add some essential oils for additional healing and de-stressing, as well as a gentle massage. This will help stimulate circulation, loosen tightened muscles and stimulate the nerve endings.
