A few good things:
* First product ever that has kept me acne-free for more than 6 months
* Huge bottle lasts me 4 months with every-day washing
* No bad fragrances
A few meh things:
* Makes my hands (that I used to apply product) very dry. I have to use lotion afterwards
* Follow the 10-seconds rule… If you use the product for longer than 10 seconds with each use, you will have dry skin
* Pump has broken on two separate bottles from short drop
Overall, even with the “meh” things, I give this product full marks. It is literally the only product that has ever worked for me.

This is a great product. When used as directed, it helped my son’s acne as well as anything else we have tried (for a fraction of the price). If they could ship it for a little less, I would easily give it that last star. Check out the product web site for other important info! Happy to see it available through Amazon.

I have to disagree with the previous review on this product, it is not an expensive cleanser. Sixteen ounces is a very large size for this price and the actual quality of the product is wonderful. It is unscented, lathers well but doesn’t leave any sort of soap scum or residue (like Noxema or other cleansers do) and if you use it faithfully along with the rest of Dan’s regimen it has a better chance of clearing up your skin than most over the counter acne medication/treatments. I have used Dan’s regimen for two years and it has helped my skin tremendously. It is very light, doesn’t feel “soapy” or thick like Neutrogena and similar brands.

It does exactly what it says. Its a nice light cleanser and is very good for shaving as well (don’t need to buy shaving soap).

Ever since I have been on the regimen, my acne-prone, dry, sensitive skin has breathed a sigh of relief. Prior to this cleanser I was juggling a ton of cleansers for the different times of the day. I used Ellen Lange, which is a very gentle mineral cleanser, for the morning wash and Laventine Olive Oil Cleanser, PCA #13, & Jan Marini Bioglycolic in the evening.
This cleanser is so gentle that I have been able to replace my very gentle morning cleanser w/ this, and not suffer any dryness during the day. I have also had great success w/ removing acne tx and masks w/o having to revert to an oil cleanser first. So far no irritation, no breakout and it completely cleanses. However I am still keeping Laventine’s Olive Oil cleanser for MU removal, but everything else I have been able to eliminate. I am glad I took the chance w/ this one.
