Therapy Massage Bar by LUSH

Product Description
If you’ve never tried our massage bars before, we recommend you start with this one. It’s completely organic, from the shea and cocoa butter that warm up with the heat of massage and melt into your skin (to make for a smooth, moisturizing but not slippery massage) to the lavender, sweet orange and neroli oils meant to relax and uplift you. We recommend this one for rubbing onto pregnant bellies to soothe and moisturize. Try it out; you’ll never go back to those slippery massage oils again. Note: This product may melt and is NOT guaranteed to arrive solid during the summer months!… Click Here For More Info >>
Therapy Massage Bar by LUSH

Therapy is one of Lush’s longtime products, and once you smell it, you’ll see why. Therapy’s scent is a mix of neroli and lavender, which is both beautiful and calming at the same time. Therapy truly has that complex “spa-like” smell. So, what does one do with a massage bar? Well, one can use it for massage, obviously, but don’t let infrequent massages keep you from purchasing one. There’s lots of other uses for them too. You can rub it on and let it sink in to use as a moisturizer, or you can shave off a little bit and let it melt in your bath water. I’ve found it’s a bit too greasy for my taste to use as a lotion, so I use it in the tub. I rub a layer on, rinse off, and pat dry. The massage bar leaves a nice cocoon of moisture behind. And just to reiterate: it really does smell great.

This bar is about the size (length/width) of a bar of dove soap. The bar itself smells lovely; citrus-y and relaxing.
When I use my current one up, I’ll very likely buy another one.
Yay LUSH!!

I bought this product because I love Lush and my boyfriend loves massages. Based both on the description and other reviews I bought the Therapy bar.
Initially, I was completely turned off by the scent of the freshly unwrapped bar. It smelled gross and I was so disappointed. The boyfriend was not going to be denied, so I used it anyway. That’s where the story improves.
Tactilely, this massage bar is amazing. It is moisturizing without being greasy or oily, and it feels wonderful on the the skin. Not only did the boyfriend rave about how good it felt, it made my hands feel great. The next surprising plus was that once the bar heated up and I just rubbed it into his skin, the horrible scent actually turned very pleasant, light and floral. It really surprised me, because the bar itself smelled nothing like that.
I will probably order other massage bars in search of the right scent, because it honestly did work excellently as a massage oil/lotion/butter.
Pro: Very moisturizing and left skin feeling smooth, velvety, and relaxed.
Con: The initial scent was gross. I can’t give it a negative, though, because once it warmed up it actually smelled good.
